The level of trust for the online medium is still shaping up due to a prevailing mindset of 'tangible' faith, or confidence, only in things we can see and touch, like talking to a real estate agent before seeing a property, or asking the teller at different banks about the rates of interest of any particular loan that is needed. However, thanks to active co-operation from banks and other financial institutions, the process has been made completely transparent to a great extent, thus leading to enhanced prospects of users switching over to the web for their money-related needs.

PaisaWaisa is a community based financial services portal that offers industry updates, comparison services for loans, insurance plans, banking accounts, real estate, cars & credit cards, besides providing the facility for online tax return filing, and updated information on domestic and global stock indices. The portal targets bringing everyone interested in any form of finance, and encouraging interaction among the same by providing the necessary inputs. Overall, the project is an attempt to simplify the process of meeting financial requirements in the country with a holistic, customer-centric approach, and aims to break the cliché of consumers having faith in only the face-to-face approach, by establishing reliability and offering world-class services.
